A multi-faceted professional in journalism, humanitarian action and the hospitality industry, Nicola works across different contexts and collaborates with individuals from all walks of life. She is an active member of the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Corps, with missions including earthquake relief in Turkey (2023) and has contributed to the Swiss television as well as the Swiss protestant Church’s newspaper "reformiert”. She has lived and worked in Syria and Palestine, including with the multinational “Temporary International Presence in the City of Hebron (TIPH)” and the Swiss Embassy in Damascus. Currently, Nicola runs a hotel in the Swiss Alps. She is fluent in German, French, English, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and Hebrew and holds a master degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science from the University of Bern.
