Geneva, Switzerland – September 25, 2024 – Pulses for Humane Solutions (PoSH), an NGO focused on sustainable development, humanitarian aid, and peacebuilding, proudly participated in the high-level roundtable on the "Triple Nexus: Benefits for Global Health by Integrating Development Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid, and Peace Promotion." Organized by Medicus Mundi Switzerland (MMS), the event was held at the Casino de Montbenon in Lausanne.

The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs also participated in the event on the theme: State of play implementation of the Humanitarian Development Peace Nexus (HDP) at the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs-DDC

Dr. Mohamad Khir Alwazir, co-director of PoSH, delivered valuable interventions during the discussions, which were highly praised by all participants. His contributions emphasized the importance of adopting integrated approaches to crisis response, development, and peacebuilding, drawing on PoSH’s extensive experience in these fields.

Alongside Dr. Alwazir, Ms. Nazdar Khalaf, a founding member of PoSH, also represented the organization. She actively engaged in working groups that explored strategies for building community resilience and transitioning from immediate aid to sustainable, long-term solutions.

The event brought together key voices from organizations such as Women’s Hope International and Handicap International, which shared lessons learned from small-scale interventions and integrated peacebuilding efforts.
