"The Role of Women in Peacebuilding and Political Participation – Challenges and Prospects" with Mrs. Francesca Binda

With the aim of increasing the role of women, adolescents, and youth in the civil movement and local civic bodies, MARS, in collaboration with Association Pouls pour des Solutions Humaines – PoSH, organized an online public event through the "Community Partners for Change" program. The event featured Mrs. Francesca Binda, a specialist in elections, parliaments, women's political participation, and political parties, who has worked in over 30 countries. She is an expert in many political transitions over the past 20 years, particularly in the Balkans and the Middle East.
Approximately 120 participants from around the world took part in the webinar, which focused on raising awareness of the importance of women's political participation and the benefits that society can reap from empowering women. The webinar addressed several key topics related to women's political experiences and their role in peacebuilding, including:
- The challenges women face in peacebuilding processes
