Dr. Mohamad Khir Alwazir

Dr. Mohamad Khir Alwazir is a Syrian writer and researcher specializing in Sharia, law, and the humanities. He is also a certified international trainer, working in academic research, education, and training. He holds a Ph.D. in Sharia and Law from the International University of Novi Pazar in Serbia. Known for his significant contributions in his field, he has made outstanding achievements across various areas. He was honored by the Arab Translators Association in recognition of his scientific and humanitarian accomplishments, being listed among 1,500 prominent Arab figures at a celebratory event held by the association.
Dr. Al-Wazir is the founder and general supervisor of the Syrian Institution for Studies and Public Opinion Research. He has published numerous papers and articles on dialogue and peacebuilding. Additionally, he served for over seven years as a peacebuilding consultant for the Middle East department at the World Council of Churches in Geneva, during which he facilitated many dialogue sessions and delivered numerous lectures on the importance of dialogue in peacebuilding and drafting a new social contract in many countries in the Middle East.

Currently, he serves as the Co-Executive Director of the association "Pouls pour des Solutions Humaines" (PoSH), which he co-founded with colleagues in Geneva, Switzerland.
